TOWNSHIP ORGANIZATIONAL MEETINGS One goal of the HCDP is to organize Township Committees that will report to the Central Committee. These committees will attempt to increase the number of Democrats active in the county. They also will attempt to gain more input from Democratic supporters. These committees are responsible making recommendations on prospective candidates, recruiting volunteers, filling precinct vacancies, recommending HCDP visibility in local events, and reporting on local issues. Buck Creek, Jackson, Brown and Blue River Townships have each held organizational meetings. Buck Creek will hold its second meeting at 6:00 P.M., February 15, 2009 at the home of Michael Adkins. Any Buck Creek residents who wish to participate at that meeting should contact Michael. Any Democrat wishing to participate in their Township Committee should also contact Mr. Adkins or their Precinct Committee Member.
